The practice was commissioned to develop a mixed-use scheme for the locally listed Walton Laundry in Brixton. The proposals retained the Victorian frontage and replaced the later industrial shed with a three-storey mixed use building.
Rights of light and privacy issues where the principal generates of the curved ‘big roof’ form which importantly also retained the semi-industrial feal of the original building.
