The practice obtained planning permission and prepared working drawings for the conversion of a concrete framed 1960s office into 22no. studio apartments on the upper floors plus a new top floor, The ground floor was refurbished to provide offices for the client, NorthStar 2000.
The existing brickwork walls were over insulated and the ribbon windows reduced to individual windows to allow for the sub-division into studios.
