The practice worked with the client to design an environmentally friendly home with ground source heating, high thermal performance and prefabricated structure. The house was clad in cedar shingles and flints to help blend the home into its rural setting whilst having a modern contemporary feel.
The kitchen living dining formed a separate single storey ‘barn’ with oak trusses and connected to the main house with a glass link.
